About Corona Municipal Airport

Corona Municipal Airport is located just 3 miles northwest of city of Corona and is a recreational general aviation airport leased by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

A variety of aircraft fly into and are based at Corona. Some of the aircraft that have been seen flying here include the traditional Cessna Skyhawks, Piper Cherokees, Beech Bonanzas (including V-tail deratives), the Feiseler Storch, Socata TBM, Douglas DC-3C (which recently relocated to Brazil), Piper Cubs, Boeing Stearman, Vari-EZ, Piper Aerostar, Beech Staggerwing, Bellanca Super Viking and much, much more.

The airport is very open and accessible to the public, so anyone wishing to simply gaze at airplanes flying and landing can do so, with wide and "aerial" panoramic views available from from the upper terrace, just a walking distance from midfield fueling area.
