Welcome
Come and explore the geographical diversity of Northern California! The rugged
Pacific coastline, the magnificent Sierra Nevada mountains, the historical,
ethnic, architectural, and entrepreneurial richness of the San Francisco Bay
Area, fruit and nut orchards, redwood forests, crop and livestock farms, deserts,
and sunny vineyards all await you...
The
seventh annual International
Deaf Pilots Association Fly-in will be held from June 27 to
July 1, 2000 at South County Airport (Q99)
in San Martin, California. San
Martin is a small town located just 30 miles south of San Jose
International Airport; it sits on a valley floor between the Santa
Cruz Mountains and the Diablo Range. The airport is close to the
San Francisco Bay Area, the agricultural San Joaquin Valley, the
Sierra foothills, Salinas Valley, and the Monterey Bay coastline
area. Click here for an orientation map
(33Kb) of the entire San Francisco Bay Area.
Your host will be IDPA member and pilot Mark Stern, supported by an enthusiastic
group of local volunteers.
